Raynor HCA 2014-04
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/1/2014
This woven section from a comforter, 7-¼" x 8-½", depicts schematic silhouetted portraits of Democratic presidential hopeful Martin Van Buren and his Whig opponent William Henry Harrison. Harrison's military past gave him the irresistible nickname "Tippecanoe" and he handily won the presidency, only to live one month beyond his inauguration. Rare and attractive, fine condition.
