THE HOLY BIBLE (Munich: Vlad Hatzala, 1947), 8vo, custom leather covers, dedicated to President Harry Truman, the front cover personalized for "Hon. Trygve Lie," the Norwegian Secretary General of the United Nations. Vlad Hatzala, a Jewish relief organization active during and after the Holocaust, intentionally printed these Bibles in Germany while actively trying to revitalize Europe's devastated Jewish community. Some light shelf rub, else very fine condition.
