A nice war-date military song book, entitled: "Trumpet of Freedom," 63pp. oblong 4to., published by Oliver Ditson & Company, Boston, 1864. In pink wrappers with a great front cover illustration depicting a fully uniformed Union musician playing a bugle. The book's songs include: the "Battle Hymn of the Republic"; "Glory Hallelujah"; "He's Gone to the Arms of Abraham"; Maryland, "My Maryland;" the "Negro Boatman's Song"; "Star Spangler Banner" and "We'll Fight for Uncle Abe" to name a few.
