Autograph Letter Signed by Hermann William Kucheister, who was awarded the Medal of Honor while “On board the U.S.S. Marblehead during the operation of cutting the cable leading from Cienfuegos, Cuba, May 11, 1898, facing heavy fire of the enemy, Kuchneister displayed extraordinary bravery and coolness throughout this action.” Letter 1p. octavo, December 17, 1908, reads in part: “...I certainly am in favor of the bill and keep up the fight...” VG.
