We note only a few issues as examples, to include; February 19th, front page “Washington’s Birthday”; may 14th, front page, “The Wonderful Dutton Children” Winslow Homer; June 11th, center spread “Curious French Potraits of American Characters” and full page, “Capture of Major Andre”; August 20th, center spread “...Flags of all Nations” 70 flags; September 24th, 1/3 page “Sunday Meeting of Colored People at Chicago”.
