Autograph Letter Signed by Wallace A. Beckwith, 21st Connecticut, who was awarded the Medal of Honor at Fredericksburg, where he “Gallantly responded to a call for volunteers to man a battery, serving with great heroism until the termination of the engagment.” This letter 1p. octavo, July 20, 1908, in part: “..I expect to attend and that I will vote for Companion Thorn...If Major Thorn has any influence in regard to the time of holding the Convention ask him to have it held in October...” Fine.
