Autograph Letter Signed of William L.S. Tabor, 15th New Hampshire, who won the Medal of Honor at the siege of Port Hudson, July 1863, because he “Voluntarily exposed himself to the enemy only a few feet away to render valuable services for the protection of his comrades.” The letter is 1p. octavo, December 16, 1908, and reads in small part: “...I say fight it out and I will do all I am able to do. My preference was for you as commander...” VG.
