The sitter here is Edward B. P. Kelly, Surgeon, 95th Pennsylvania Volunteers, with B. F. Reimer, Philadelphia backmark. Kelly's regiment was composed of zouaves and served in all of the great campaigns waged by the Army of the Potomac. As a surgeon, he would have been quite busy. A dealer's pencil notations on the back, else very good condition.
