Newspaper Group, 46 issues of the Daily National Intelligencer, Washington, each 4pp., never bound, quarterfolded, ocassional tears yet over all very good. The Intelligencer was the primary newspaper reporting the national political speeches, debates and issues of the day. It was a leading Whig newspaper, and continued to hold conservative, unionist principles down to the Civil War.
