Partially printed shipping receipt, one page with verso docketing, oblong 4to, Vicksburg, Mississippi, May 31, 1861, notes S.G. French, Mississippi's ordnance chief, sent 50 muskets to Walter Cox & Co. of New Orleans. French's career would advance to become a division commander in the Army of Tennessee. Very good condition.
