The Public Ledger, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Vol. LIX, No. 19, April 15, 1865, 4pp., folio, the lead story being "A Crime Without a Name," in which Lincoln's mortal wounding, the attempted murder of Seward and Booth's escape are related. At the time this paper went to press, Lincoln was still alive but without any hope of survival. Good condition.
