America's favorite aviatrix is shown at the center of social and publicity situations commencing during the late 1920s. One photo shows Earhart and Captain Manning "going over the proposed route" for their around the world flight. An odd and heavily doctored photo is included as used in a 1970 book claiming Amelia was still alive. Each image is stamped an dated by the news agency releasing it. Very good condition. Four photos are 8" x 6-1/2," while two are 7" x 5."
