Sixth-plate ambrotype in half case, showing a very young seated enlisted man in a frock coat embellished with shoulder scales, his waist belt secured by a regulation M1851 sword belt plate, while a M1858 "Hardee" hat rests on the table beside him. Wear to case, very good condition.
