In this Confederate newspaper, there are a number of Texas and Confederate governmental reports such as “Official Vote,” which provide a county-by-county Texas vote for secession, 44, 317 to 13,020 in favor of secession. ... the Confederate Constitution ratified by Alabama. The Flag of the Confederacy is assigned to committee. Then, there are several military reports including “The Surrender of Fort Brown.” And, a slave broker advertisement for Edward Riordan.
