This is a second generation plaster mask, 6" x 9-3/4", which was cast directly from a mold made from the original John Dillinger Death Mask. Historical Collectible Auctions sold the original Death Mask in 1999 for $5300. This mask is exceptional in its detail and craftsmanship and true to the original in every respect. On the back and scrolled into the plaster is the limited edition “# 7/100, Larry McComb.” Recently one of these limited editions sold at auction for $720.
