1859 Book, "Infantry Tactics; Or, Rules For The Exercise And Manouevres Of The United States' Infantry," Volume 2, by Major-General Scott, Fine. 5.75" x 3.5," 305 pages plus numerous pullout illustrations. Worn marbled covers and gilt-lettered spine, but internally clean and sound. The owner of the book "Mr. E.V. Payne" has signed on the inside front endpaper. A nice example of this classic military manual.
