Union Valentine, 1p. 3-1/4”x4-1/4”, with cut out vignette of an American eagle with ribbon “FINIS CORONAT OPUS”, standing on top of the world. Three cut out hearts adorne the corners. Verso reads “Ella”. VG. Homemade valentines like this were often sent by soldiers to their sweathearts.
