Slave bill of sale, 1pp. quarto, December 11, 1850, and reads in part: “...JD & JS Glass of the State of North Carolina and County of Caswell, have this day sold to Ross Grave of the State of Georgia and the County of Clark, a certain Negro girl named Catherine aged about ten years and of yellow complexion for & in consideration of six hundred dollars to us in hand paid...” Fine condition.
