A great CDV of a war-date image showing a seated Union soldier with his standing "contraband" servant. Both men are posed before a palm tree camp scene backdrop while the soldier rests his arm on a table draped with an American flag by D. E. Butler, Holyoke, Mass. Fresh to the market and from an album that contained members of the 7th Conn. Vols. who for a time were stationed on the coast of South Carolina and Georgia. Near fine.
