Manuscript war-dated slave appraisal document, 8” x 12,” 4pp., September 23, 1863, Lincoln County, Kentucky. The first page, “Negroes” goes on to list 18 slaves by name and appraised value. The most expensive is Winford at $400, two are valued at $0, being Henry - 70 years old and Siddy - 75 years old. Total value is $2875.00. The first page closes with “We do certify that the above is a true inventory and appraisals of all property presented to us by WW Dusly administrator of Cyrus Miller, deceased ...” The interior pages list personal property and is docketed. Ink is somewhat light but still very legible. VG.
