Prepared from Files of Headquarters, Department of S.C., Ga., and Fla. With Full Indexes.” Steamp-power Presses of Evans & Cogswell. 1864. With 23pp. of period ink manuscript orders affixed at back. Signed on fly leaf “Chas. S. Stringfellow A.A.G HdQrs Dpt. So. Ca. Ga. & Fla. Charleston, July 2/64.” Period binding. Crandall 1343. Fine condition. Charles S. Stringfellow started service with the 12th Virginia Infantry, but was discharged for promotion to captain and then major in the Confederate States Army.
