Of course Harper’s Weekly is the most famous of the war-dated illustrated newspapers. This grouping of 10 issues are each 16pp., complete and each issue disbound. We have listed the front page engraving, yet clearly each issue has numerous wood cuts on the interior pages as well. Overall condition is VG. Hooker Riding along his Lines” and portraits of The Late Gen. James McPherson' & 'Gen. Oliver Howard” ...plus, August 20th, centerspread, “'Explosion of the Mine & Assault on Cemetery Hill before Petersburg”....plus, September 3rd, Front page, “Gen. Sherman's Campaign--Council of War Held at Gen. Wood's Hqtrs.” ...plus, October 8th, Front page, “'Gen. Philip H.
