Carte de visite of Chaplain Charles Andrew Snow, 3rd Massachusetts Infantry, with “J.H. Crittenden Artist.” blindstamp on recto. Gorgeous tones, of this soldier with his cap prominent and Massachusetts “3” badge affixed. Fine condition. Charles Andrew Snow a 33-year old minister enlisted on October 10, 1862 and was mustered into the Field and Staff of the 3rd Massachusetts Infantry as a chaplain.
