Nice war-date albumen photograph of the Fairfax Court House, with several mounted soldiers and bell tower lookout. Image is 5-1/4”x4” and affixed to larger card mount. c. 1862 or 1863. Fine condition. The court house in Fairfax was the scene of military engagements during the Civil War and changed hands several times during the conflict.
