Wonderful cold cast bronze bust of President Abaham Lincoln. Measures 16" tall, and has some slight damage to the back left corner of the base, which could be repaired, else excellent. This bust, being a copy done by George Bissel, was made in the early to mid 20th Century, and has a Bissell and Gorham Foundry stamp on the reverse. Albeit a copy of the original, these still sell in the $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 price range. An example is being offered for $1,850.00 at this time by the Abraham Lincoln Book Shop. A wonderful display piece.
