Excellent mouring ribbon for President Andrew Jackson, 2-1/4”x7-1/4”, with image of Jackson’s burial memorial at center and reads “A GRATEFUL NATION’S MOURNFUL TRIBUTE.” above, with beneath “GENERAL ANDREW JACKSCON, BORN MARCH 15th, 1767, At Waxsaw, South Carolina. DIED JUNE 8th, 1845, At the Hermitage, Tennessee. Aged 78 Years, 2 Months and 24 Days. Funeral Solemnities were performed to his Memoy, by the Citizens of Philadelphia, JUNE 26th, 1845.” Very good condition.
