Scarce Clymer piece (a play on the name of the Democratic candidate for Govenor of Pennsylvania Hiester Clymer who lost in 1866) is from the 1866 PA gubernatorial election in which the same anti-Johnson issues were in play as in the other Salt River Ticket offered above. This example brings into play an image of an African American. Measures 4" x 6 1/4", fine.
