From the interior, a 3 page report, “Case of Negroes and Planters Stated.” In small part, “...The speech of Moses Bon Saam, a free Negro at the head ofthose revolted slaves who have betaken them selves to the mountains ...and stigmatizes the Possessors of the Negro Slaves in these Parts as Enemies to the Negroes, Oppressors, ungrateful and merciless Masters, insolent Enslavers, imperious Torturers... Mr. John Talbot Campbell, a free Christian Negro ...Continues in the April issue, 1741, 64 pp., disbound. In part, “Slavery is wholly confined ... and who live in their colonies ..for as soon as any Slave .. sets his foot in France, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Denmak, or England he is said to be ipso facto free. ...” Issues remain bound together.
