An anti slavery badge made from the 1838 token “Am I Not A Women & A Sister” which has been affixed to a red, white and blue rossette. The piece is then pinned to a manuscript which reads, “Badge worn bye, Sahra Douglas, Born Sept 19, 1817, A SLAVE, Dyed Maye 12, 1881, A Free bye Amasing Grace Amen.”
