Engraving titled, "EMINENT OPPONENTS of the SLAVE POWER." by J.C. Buttre, New York, This historic Engraving shows Oval Portraits of the following Abolitionists; John Quincy Adams, Henry Ward Beecher, William Lloyd Garrison, William Cullen Bryant, John Greenleaf Whittier, Joshua R. Giddings, Wendell Phillips, Charles Sumner, Garrit Smith, Cassius M. Clay, Owen Lovejoy and Benjamin Lundy. Each image is identified with a name below. Scarce, and a very handsome example for display. Very good condition.
