Imprint, "Head-Quarters, Wheeler's Cavalry Corps, June 3rd, 1863. General Orders No. 7.," n.p., one page, 3 ½" x 11", reading, in small part: "The earnest attention of all Cavalry is called to the importance of their observing the utmost accuracy in their reports of the movements and strength of the enemy…Cavalry Officers and Soldiers must always remember that they are the eyes and ears of the General commanding…" This imprint does not appear in Parrish & Willingham as a stand-alone document. Perhaps it was included in a known 1865 compilation of earlier imprints. Dampstains, else very good.
