Lot of two newspapers, PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, each 8 pages, folio, August 19 and 21, 1863, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The dominant news items in these wartime papers are reflections on the New York Draft Riot of the preceding month and the ongoing siege of Charleston, South Carolina. There are also numerous reports from Virginia and Tennessee. Aging, small splits, and folds as expected. Good condition.
