Partially printed document signed "H.B. McLellan" and "W.H. Taylor," "Extract. Special Orders, No. 120, Headquarters Cavalry Division/ A. of N. Va, Aug. 4th 1863," one page with docketing, oblong octavo. J.H. Darden, Co. "C," 15th Virginia Cavalry is here given 20 days' leave for procuring replacement horses. Major McClellan was J.E.B. Stuart's Adjutant General (and first cousin to George B.!) while Major Walter H. Taylor has been immortalized as an aide to Robert E. Lee. Very good.
