Confederate imprint, 1-1/2p. octavo, c. 1865, being “Resolutions of Forsberg’s Brigade, Wharton’s Division.” and reads in small part: “At a meeting of Forseberg’s Brigade, Wharton’s Division, Army of the Valley, the following resolutions were unanimously adopted...That we thus meet to pledge anew our devotion to our country...we are convinced we are dealing with a crafty, cruel and merciless foe, whom we distrust so much, that, were he to come with the Bible in one hand, we would look for the dagger in the other...That with the great and glorious Lee - the christian gentleman and chivalrous soldier - for our leader, we are content to cast the interests of our struggling country...” More.
