GREGORY, Francis (1780 - 1866), was an officer in the United States Navy during the War of 1812 through to the Civil War, serving then as a Rear Admiral. Civil War Autographed Document Signed, being manuscript Union Naval Military Orders, December 20, 1864, this original document states where Assistant Engineer H.C.McIlvaine has been transferred to the US Ship Winnipie (sic) at Boston, and is Signed by Admiral Francis Gregory. This Document measures 8" x 11" and is overall in fine condition.
