A good Civil War-date, ca. 1860, oval albumen photograph showing the parade ground of West Point, New York, measuring 7 3/4" x 5 3/4", on large thin cardboard mount. The image shows "the Plains" adorned with numerous artillery limbers and caissons with Roe's Hotel on the background, taken from an upper window of the library. Mount has some paper loss, while the image itself is VG to near fine.
