No backmark, the back neatly inscribed with an abridged, but complete, service record. Love distinguished himself and his regiment by earning the Medal of Honor for capturing the regimental flag of the 2nd South Carolina at the 1864 Battle of Cedar Creek near Winchester, Virginia. Very good condition.
