Edited By James Grant Wilson and John Fiske; D. Appleton and Company. New York, NY. 1889. 6 Volumes. This set is hard-bound in 1/2 morocco with marbled boards. The bindings on all of the volumes are solid and tight, with wear to the edges, corners, and spine ends. The contents are mainly bright and clean with some light intermittent foxing throughout. These volumes are illustrated with very nice steel engravings of famous/notable Americans.
