Scarce Printed Circular From A Maker Of Patriotic Envelopes, 1863. 8.25" x 5.5" printed circular of Matson & Co., Cleveland, Ohio, dated April, 1863, advertising their "new and unequaled National Prize Packet, which includes: "6 [sheets] Patriotic Note--New and elegant Designs, 6 Patriotic Envelopes--Choice Designs...1 Splendid Panorama of the Seat of War, 20 Comic Illustrations of the War, 34 Portraits of our leading Generals..." Assurance is offered that "we will not deal in, nor put up such trash as IS and HAS BEEN sold in this manner..." Small tear at top center.
