Autograph Letter Signed on fine “The North Carolina Mutual and Provident Association - Greatest Negro Insurance Company in the World.” letterhead, dated June 28, 1911, addressed to Reverend W.D. Johnson of Columbus, Georgia, with cover addressed to him and “NOrth Carolina Mutual and Provident Association business card, the letter rads in small part: “When I saw you at the commencement at Morris Brown I told you that we would send to Columbus an African Methodist as Supt of our work. I had in mind Mr. E.N. Mitts of Greenville, S.C. but he is a candidate for lay delegate the next Gen. conference, so he asked that he be allowed to remain at home until after the election....So we have sent Mr. Max Frasier of Ala...” Fine condition.
