CDV of William E. Ludwig, chest-up in uniform, backmarked Amey & Lemer, Harrisburg, Penna., VG. Ludwig presents the CDV on the reverse, “Respectfully, W.E. Ludwig, Co. E 20th Regt, maine Volunteers. he enlisted as a musician in 1862, and died of disease 1864.
