DOOLITTLE, James (1896-1993) was an American aviation pioneer. Doolittle served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War and was awarded the Medal of Honor for his valor and leadership as commander of the Doolittle Raid while a Lieutenant Colonel. Signed 8”x10” photograph “To Harry Broderson: With every good wish J.H. Doolittle.” Fine image of him in uniform. Fine condition.
