Stamped twice on the back of the stem with his “I.NR” Rectangular Hallmark Punch. This Dinner Spoon is of an old English bright-cut ornamentation pattern with a elongated rounded drop. It is ridged and channeled for ornamentation on back of the handle and the initials are engraved upon the top portion of the handle. The brothers were partners 1785-1791 giving this piece a c1790, Fine. On December 12, 1795, George Washington appointed Joseph Richardson Assayer of the Mint.
