A complete and authentic issue of the Harper’s Weekly, September 15, 1877, 16pp., disbound, VG. From the interior, 1/2 page engraving of Brigham Young with a lengthy obituary. Young was ordained President of the Church Later day Saints in December 1847. As colonizer and founder of Salt Lake City, Young was appointed the territory's first governor and superintendent of American Indian affairs by President Millard Fillmore.
