Auxillary of the Grand Army of the Republic.” Cleveland, Ohio, September 12, 13, 14, 1901, 17pp. octavo, and reads in part: “Mrs. Ida Saxton McKinley, Buffalo, New York. ... The nineteenth national convention of the Womans Relief Corps, auxiliary to the Grand Army fo the Republic, now assembled in the city of Cleveland extends to you tenderest sympathy and love in these anxious hours of your sorrow.... In view of the calamity to this country, which we trust has been averted... A telegram of great sympathy to be sent to our Presidents wife who is silently watchingOur united prayers ascend to the President’s God and our God for his speedy recovery...” more. Fine condition.
