Sara Ann Deleno Roosevelt, September 1854 - September 1941. Second wife of James Roosevelt, mother of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Large photograph album of CDV's and cabinet cards, including two images of Sara Deleno, c. 1870's. The large album has several other names in it, including Morgan, Stone, Watson, Swift, and more. The two images of Sara were in the album, so she must have been a family friend. Both images were taken in New York by J. Ludovici's, Broadway. The FDR Library in Hyde Park, NY., has examples of these images in their archives. With some research one could most probably determine the relationship Sara had with the others in the album.
