A Proof sheet for a Civil War patriotic envelope and/or lettersheet by the famous printer of Civil War patriotic stationery Charles Magnus of New York. Blank reverse, printed in a bronze colored ink. Ornate motifs and patriotic scenes, with two portrait panels: Gen'l George McClellan is the left portrait, Major General Mansfield is on the right. Bears the "Magnus N.Y." copyright. Very rare and unusual; part of a larger set being offered in this sale.
