Autograph Letter Signed, "Harry Harrison" 2nd Lt. 2nd U.S. Cavalry, 2p. octavo, "Officers Hospital, Annapolis" February 25, 1865, with content pertaining to his newly issued parole, it reads in part: '...Am well but owing to the large number of paroled officers at Annapolis have been obliged to take quarters at the Hospital....Indeed our life here is more agreeable than at the third rate hotel in the town. Did you receive my letter from Danville...Have you forgotten me or become estranged from me during my weary and dreary captivity?..." VG. Harrison was taken POW at Winchester, Va. and imprisoned at Danville.
