Autograph Letter, 8" x 5," lined, 3-page integral sheet, sent to Overton, Bradford, by "S... Will to his brother Andrew. Toned and lightly soiled letter, accompanied by original transmittal envelope, circular stamped cancel from West Virginia. A gentle letter, with warm regards, in part: "With pleasure I will seat myself to pen these lines to you. In an answer to a letter I received Wednesday last. We were indeed very glad to hear that your health was improving. As this leaves us well hoping to find you the same.... Mary wanted to send something to you so bad so she went out and gathered a whole handfull of summer grass... if you get your discharge and come to Allentown you get a nice suit of close before you come home. So I will close by saying you to write soon / From L... Will. / Now this cruel war is over and now we.... will all meet again."
