c. 1865 Jefferson Davis Poem/Songsheet, Choice Extremely Fine. 9.5" x 6.5." Some toned areas and a 1/2" split along a diagoinal fold; faint printing (as made). Published by H. De Marsan of New York. Titled "Jeff Davis and His Uncle," this imprint mocks Davis and his foolish confrontation with his "Uncle" (Sam)! Comical figures of blacks and minstrels make up the outer border. Rare!
